Colour Change
I’ve been planning to brighten up our kitchen without ripping everything apart, and a new glass splashback might be the easiest way to make a noticeable difference. A neighbour recently fitted a pale green one and it completely changed the room. I’m tempted to do something similar, but I’d rather use a dependable installer. Any recommendations for glass splashbacks?
Totally get the appeal - splashbacks are one of those small changes that actually transform the whole room without needing a full rip-out. My neighbour did something similar last year, went with a soft sage green glass splashback and suddenly her whole kitchen looked lighter and more expensive, even though the cabinets were unchanged. That's what pushed us to finally replace our boring beige tiles. We almost went with the cheapest quote we found, but the installer seemed sketchy about measurements and didn't want to come do a proper site visit first. Decided to hold off and check reviews properly. Ended up booking through bespoke glass splashbacks after seeing their previous splashback installs and liking that they actually measure on-site before cutting. Chose a pale blue-green to match our worktop accents, and yeah, it genuinely feels like a different kitchen now. Light bounces around more, and cleaning's a dream compared to grout. Would 100% recommend going the splashback route if you want maximum impact for minimum hassle.
