FH6 Treasure Chest Hunt: Locate Every Hidden Car
Forza Horizon 6 is packed with secrets, and one of the most exciting is the Treasure Chest Hunt. Scattered across Japan’s stunning open world are 9 hidden Treasure Cars. Finding them all not only fills your garage with rare rides but also earns you the “Treasure Hunter” achievement/trophy and the “Lost and Found” badge.
Unlike traditional barn finds, Treasure Cars don’t need any story progression to unlock. They’re parked out in the open and marked by a purple icon when you get nearby. Here’s your full guide to tracking down every hidden vehicle.
Treasure Car Locations
1. 1991 Nissan Figaro – Tokyo City Region
- Location: Southern district of Tokyo City.
- Tip: Look for an open-air parking lot off the main street. The Figaro is tucked away, so drive slowly and keep an eye on your mini-map.
2. 1969 Dodge Charger R/T – Minamino Region
- Location: Near the local golf course.
- Tip: Head to the east side of the clubhouse/shop and explore the back alley to spot this classic muscle car.
3. 1985 Mazda RX-7 GSL-SE – Ohtani Region
- Location: Off-road near large power infrastructure.
- Tip: Drive up into the hills toward the two big radio antennas. The RX-7 is parked right between them.
4. 1985 Nissan Safari Turbo – Ito Region
- Location: Eastern peninsula along the coast.
- Tip: Search underneath the large windmill structure. The Safari Turbo blends in, so check every angle.
5. 1987 Porsche 959 – Shimanoyama Region
- Location: Northwest highway sector.
- Tip: Find the “365” convenience store. The Porsche is tucked in the alleyway to the left side of the building.
6. 2005 Ford GT – Nangan Region
- Location: Southwestern coast.
- Tip: Follow dirt paths down to coastal trails. Near the sand patches at the scenic overlook, the GT waits with a perfect view.
7. 1981 BMW M1 – Hokubu Region
- Location: Northern mountains under heavy transit infrastructure.
- Tip: Look for a massive concrete railway bridge. The M1 is parked right beside one of the support columns.
8. 1995 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution III GSR – Takashiro Region
- Location: Northern peak near the waterfall landmark.
- Tip: The Lancer hides in an abandoned parking area next to the roaring falls. Don’t miss it!
9. 1974 Lancia Stratos HF Stradale – Sotoyama Region
- Location: Snowy alpine mountains on the map’s left side.
- Tip: Navigate the switchbacks and find a standalone building. The legendary rally car is parked just outside.

- Drive close to the car or switch to Drone Mode for an aerial view.
- Pull up next to the vehicle and hit the “Collect” prompt.
- Watch a short cutscene as the car is restored.
- Choose to drive it immediately or send it straight to your garage.
