Trying to calibrate C71 without a manual, getting stuck

Hello everyone, guys! I’ve finally gotten around to writing to you to ask for help. I recently bought a used CEMB C71 wheel balancer for my small workshop, and although the unit is in pretty decent condition, I’m running into some calibration issues.

After startup, it keeps asking for a repeat check, and I can’t figure out whether I’m entering the wheel parameters incorrectly or if the zero point has been shifted in the settings. Has anyone worked with this exact model? How sensitive is it to mains voltage fluctuations, and is it realistically possible to calibrate it yourself without calling a service technician? Also, is there any way to disable the sound signals during measurement? After a full day of work they get really exhausting, and I couldn’t find this option in the menu.

If the calibration keeps going off, then you should first see if the main shaft is properly tightened and if there's any wear on it. Because even a tiny bit of looseness will spoil the readings. Besides, instead of just guessing in the menu, you can read the technical manual at manualmachine.com if you don't have it. It'll not only guide you through the sensor calibration procedure, but also explain all the hidden service functions of this machine! And you might also see the part about interface settings. Sometimes a sound can be disabled through a key combination. Hey, are you using standard or adhesive weights for alloy rims? The machine does not always function correctly, if a wrong spoke distribution mode is selected. Feel free to write to me if you can't figure it out!
